Work Package 1: Management and Quality Assurance
Led by UNYT with co-leadership from EUT, focusing on the overall coordination, monitoring, reporting, and quality control of the project. Key activities include the development and implementation of a project management plan, financial oversight, and regular consortium meetings. A dedicated Quality Board will oversee continuous internal evaluation to ensure the relevance, effectiveness, and industry alignment of all project outputs, including training materials and stakeholder partnerships. This work package ensures the project’s results meet high standards and respond to real-world demands.

Work Package 2: Field Analysis and Market Actor Involvement
The workpackage focuses on identifying the smart manufacturing skills and competencies needed in the region by engaging industry stakeholders through project partners. The team will gather both quantitative data from 100 respondents in Kosovo and Albania, and qualitative insights through two focus group workshops with key market actors. These findings will inform a comprehensive needs analysis report and a strategic roadmap to guide participating HEIs in developing relevant and targeted educational modules. This ensures the GITEKA project is aligned with industry demands and regional workforce needs.

Work Package 3: Development of the Training Programme and Modules
This workpackage is the core of the GITEKA project, focusing on the co-design and creation of self-paced Open Educational Resource (OER) modules in smart manufacturing. Based on the needs analysis from WP2, each HEI in Kosovo and Albania will develop at least two modules in areas such as design-driven innovation, service design, engineering, circular economy, and innovative business models. The WP also includes training sessions led by WSP Poland to build staff capacity in course design and effective online teaching. These efforts aim to ensure high-quality, industry-relevant learning for both students and professionals.

Work Package 4: Pilot Action
The workpackage focuses on testing the modules and roadmap developed in previous phases to ensure they meet industry needs and effectively transfer learning outcomes to students and professionals. Participating HEIs from Kosovo and Albania will formally integrate these modules into their existing curricula and commit to offering the microcredentials as self-paced Open Educational Resources (OER). A workshop titled “Students Meet Industry Challenges” will engage students and industry representatives to collaborate on real-world problems via the project’s online platform. The work package will conclude with an evaluation report assessing the modules’ impact and providing recommendations for improvement.

A key highlight will be the Final Dissemination Conference, which aims to showcase the project’s achievements. This work package ensures the visibility and long-term impact of the project beyond its conclusion.
