We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Green Industrial Transformation through Education in Kosovo and Albania (GITEKA) project, proudly funded under the CBHE program by the European Commission. This innovative initiative is set to drive green industrial change in the region, empowering future leaders through education, collaboration, and sustainable practices.

At the heart of this transformative project is the University of New York Tirana (UNYT), which will lead the charge in shaping the future of green industries in Kosovo and Albania. The project will focus on fostering sustainability, innovation, and education, paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future in the region.

The kick-off meeting for the GITEKA project took place on January 21st, 2025, at the University of New York Tirana. The event was an exciting start to this journey, with the participation of several distinguished guests and stakeholders, marking a significant milestone in the project’s launch.

The event began with an inspiring welcome message from:

The event was organized and facilitated by the Research, Project, and Innovation Center at UNYT, which will play a key role in the project’s implementation and success.
